August 22-23 Week-End Report
The U16 team had an up and down weekend. After a disappointing first game last week with 1-0 loss to the Gators, they showed up at MVP and played an excellent game, dominating and scoring great goals in a 6-0 win over the Rochester Soccer Club.  Katy Klunder scored a Hat trick from center midfield.

However tides changed on Sunday coming up against last year's State Cup Champion Hawks in State Cup. We played with them for the first half, losing 2-0 to a couple of goals that were our own mistakes.  In the second half we lost concentration and ended up on the wrong end of a 6-0 score line.

Positives will be taken from Saturday's game and hopefully some lessons learned from Sunday.  Overall the team is looking good and coming together well as a group with many players new to the squad.
