Boys U10 Gold Win Vardar Elite Tournament
Coach Remco Bergsma reports: "We played the Vardar Elite tournament and became repeat champions after winning the U9 Boys Elite bracket last year. The U10 Boys bracket had teams from Michigan Elite, Novi Jaguars, Vardar, Waza, Ohio premier, RSC, Salvo, Michigan Rush and Canton soccer club participating.
 
Crew went undefeated through the tournament with a finals win against a very strong Michigan Elite team. The boys played great and showed that they are one of the best U10 boys team in Michigan at the moment. With the addition of some new players the team became even better and hopefully these kids will keep improving and become great soccer players."

Boys U10 Gold are Champions in Capitol Area Classic U11
The boys were champions at the Capital Area Classic in the U11 bracket the weekend of Sept. 19-20. The first day they scored 20 goals and only had 1 scored against them. Sunday was more of a challenge. In the first game they fell behind 1-0 but continued to fight and come out with a 4-3 win to advance to the finals. The final game started very well for the other team! They scored 3 goals in the first half and it was the first time the Crew boys were so far behind. But they came out strong in the second half and at the end of regulation it was tied 3-3. In the 3rd minute of the second overtime the game winner was scored. Hard work and perseverance proved to be the difference. Congratulations to the boys and Coaches Remco Bergsma, Kevin Conerty and Jamie Ireland.
